Had a great trip last week launching our new Elsewhere winter venue – The Mayors House (lots of pictures below).
It’s a gorgeous 9 bedroom property in La Clusaz, Alps only 20 minutes away from the main ski lift (via your complimentary mini bus) and comes with a separate garden lodge (I say lodge, it’s huge!).

The property boasts a cinema room, games room, swimming pool, two saunas (one sauna is so 2017…), hot tub, open fires, a wonderful host / manager Ann and a damn charming charismatic chef 🙂
I was out there for a week with the objective of defining the dining experience. I did the same for the Chateau in Provence and we wanted the ‘feel’ to be the same but the food more reflective of the environment.
The philosophy doesn’t really change, but the ingredients and resources do.. Anyway, here are a few pics of the stuff I created with Ann who looks after everything Alps!
