It was a real privilege to be invited in by Crystal Palace FC to talk to the U23 team about healthy eating, specifically for pre and post match dinners.
The whole team (not just the footballers) at Crystal Palace FC really look after the youth teams and were brilliant in getting the workshop organised and super helpful in putting it all together.
CPFC have their own on-site nutritionist, Kate and between us we created a bunch of recipes specifically designed for pre and post match meals that were super easy and quick that the lads could make themselves.
Ultimately, I turned up laden with ingredients, got the frying pan out and got the lads cooking!
The U23 team are a great bunch of lads and I’m chuffed that so many have started whipping up their own versions of the recipes we cooked in our ‘Performance Cooking Workshop’.
